The Christmas Ornament
Here is another Hallmark sappiness fest of awesome! A woman, Cathy, facing her first Christmas alone decides that not celebrating at all will be easier than having to do so on her own. I get that... sometimes it just feels easier to avoid than go through the pain we see on the horizon. The one beloved Christmas tradition Cathy does hang on to is making her incredible Christmas cookies which means the door to the Holidays is juuuuust enough ajar to let a little more in when she meets Tim, who is ALL about Christmas!
What follows is a sweet story of friendship, opening up to new heart possibilities and coming to terms with the fact that it’s okay to have new hope in the life that is left to live.
Like most of the Hallmark Holiday movies, The Christmas Ornament is pretty predictable in theme but it’s filled with heartful goodness that I love to watch again and again because it really does feel Christmassy!
If you’ve seen The Christmas Ornament and loved it... YAY! If you’ve seen it and not loved it, that’s okay, too... I will continue to be happy loving it to bits for you! And if you’ not yet seen it and it happens to be on television at some point when you are able to sit and watch... I hope you will give it a chance to become one of your favourites, too!
